Chifeng Wu is a New York State–registered architect and the founder of PROJECT UOU. With over a decade of experience across design and construction, his work spans multiple scales and building types, with a focus on multifamily and mixed-use projects. His approach is grounded in art, history, and context, often informed by material textures and found objects.
Before founding PROJECT UOU, Chifeng served as a Project Architect at Morris Adjmi Architects in New York, where he led construction efforts for a boutique condominium and a high-rise rental tower. His additional project experience includes The Kent, Eagle + West, and 67 Irving Place.
Beyond practice, Chifeng has led the design of exhibitions including the ZODA House Exhibition and the Young Taiwanese Architectural Designers Exhibition. Through PROJECT UOU, he offers comprehensive design services guided by contextual sensitivity and a thoughtful engagement with history—bringing projects to life with clarity, intention, and excellence.
Chifeng holds an M.S. in Architecture from Columbia University GSAPP and a B.S. in Architecture from National Cheng Kung University.

His work is shaped by interests at the intersection of architecture, urban planning, public policy, and real estate, fostering an integrated and strategic approach to the built environment.
With a multidisciplinary foundation, Kai brings expertise across all design phases. His portfolio spans residential, adaptive reuse, commercial, educational, and cultural projects, including transformative urban developments in Manhattan such as Terminal Warehouse and 80 Clarkson at COOKFOX Architects, large-scale commercial and cultural projects in Taiwan at KRIS YAO | ARTECH, and the design and construction of a school in Ghana.
Beyond practice, he serves as a Guest Design Critic at Pratt Institute and a Visiting Assistant Professor at National Cheng Kung University in Taiwan.

Yu Hsu is a registered architect in New York State and a partner at PROJECT UOU, with over a decade of professional experience delivering thoughtful design and guiding complex projects from concept through completion. Her work spans a wide range of built projects, including residential, hospitality, commercial, and mixed use developments across multiple scales and contexts.
Prior to founding PROJECT UOU, Yu was an Associate at One Architecture & Urbanism (ONE), where she led and managed major urban resilience initiatives in New York City. Her work included the Financial District and Seaport Climate Resilience Master Plan and the Flyover Bridge for the East Side Coastal Resiliency (ESCR) project, engaging closely with public agencies, community stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams.
Earlier in her career, Yu worked at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM) in New York as a Senior Architect on high rise projects such as the Manhattan West Pendry Hotel and 250 Water Street mixed use tower. She began her professional practice at T.D. LEE Architects in Taiwan, where she led residential and mixed

Chihwei Hsu is a New York State registered architect with over a decade of experience across the United States and Asia. Her work spans institutional, cultural, and workplace projects, with a focus on the public realm, and narrative-driven design.
Before founding PROJECT UOU, Chihwei was a Senior Associate at Ennead Architects, where she led the design and delivery of complex projects including the Capitol Crossing Center Block Development in Washington, D.C., the St. Paul School Dining Hall and Health & Wellness Center, NYU Langone Health Schwartz Health Care Center Lobby Renovation in the U.S., the Keqiao Textile Museum, and the Bilibili Shanghai Headquarters in China.
Beyond practice, Chihwei is active as a curator and educator. She co-curated the 2024 Tectonic Becoming: Non-Parallel exhibition at Tainan Art Museum and served as a Visiting Assistant Professor at National Cheng Kung University.
